HOW WE OPERATE
Our main goal is to pass our passion on to our students. Cave diving is simply amazing both in terms of the diving environment and the technical skills required to do it safely. It is paramount for us to practice progressive penetration both in training and in practicing the activity after the course. We want our students not only to get obsessed with cave diving like ourselves but to have all the tools needed to conduct safe dives independently. Anybody can train to be a competent cave diver but you have to respect the process and invest the required time and effort, by having the correct mindset you will be able to become an aware cave diver and visit some breathtaking places.
OUR TECH INSTRUCTOR
Marcelin Nebehaus
Avid diver since he first got certified in 1995, he has been living the Rivera Maya since 2015 when he decided to dedicate his life to Cave diving. He spent his time training and practicing with the best and most respected Cave divers around. In 2016 he undertook his first exploration & survey project and has been participating and organizing them ever since.
We asked him how he considers himself as an instructor?
"I think I am a passionate and honest instructor. I will always let my students know when they are doing well or when the skill still needs work. Learning cave diving is and should be a fun experience but it is a difficult and sometimes frustrating process. You just don’t want to be just OK at cave diving. To properly enjoy it you need to be in full control of your skills and techniques and always keep a large margin or comfort zone. Cave or technical diving training is just amazing and I hope to give to my students everything I was lucky to receive from my instructors and mentors”.
Marcelin is a respected Technical/Cave Instructor who can teach in English, Spanish and French. His vast knowledge, dedication together with his humbleness have convinced us to team up with him and give him the reigns of our Technical & Cave Diving division.
